  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika, you can use smoked paprika
  • olive oil spray

For Hot Honey

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons honey, or maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon ginger, grated or minced

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F. Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces and remove the skin if preferred.
    2 salmon fillets
  • Season the salmon with salt, pepper, and paprika. Lightly spray with olive oil.
1 pinch of salt, 1 pinch of black pepper, ½ teaspoon paprika, olive oil spray
  • Arrange the salmon on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • While the salmon bakes, make the hot honey sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, hot sauce, ginger, butter, soy sauce (if using). Stir until warmed and slightly thickened.
4 tablespoons honey, 3 tablespoons hot sauce, 2 tablespoon soy sauce, ½ teaspoon ginger, 4 tablespoons butter
  • Once the salmon is done, toss it in the hot honey sauce until fully coated.
  • Serve immediately with rice, cauliflower rice, or steamed veggies for a healthy, flavorful meal. Enjoy!

Notes

  • To Store. Allow the Hot Honey Salmon Bites to cool to room temperature before storing. Place the cooled salmon in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3-4 days.
  • Freezing. For longer storage, freeze the salmon after it has cooled. Place the salmon in an airtight container or freezer bag, and freeze for up to 3 months. To thaw, move it to the fridge overnight.
  • To Reheat. To reheat, microwave the salmon for 2-3 minutes or warm it in the oven at 350°F until heated through. You can also drizzle a bit more hot honey sauce for extra flavor.
