Mix the sauce ingredients until smooth. Generously coat the chicken thighs with the marinade, season with salt & pepper, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
5-6 ounces chicken, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup, kosher salt and pepper to taste, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, ½ teaspoon fresh garlic
Preheat the oven to broil on high, placing the rack in the middle. Broil the chicken for 7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Alternatively, preheat the oven to 425°F and cook the chicken for 20-25 minutes.
While the chicken rests, prepare your preferred grains or rice and serve with assorted toppings.
