An easy one pot beef stroganoff with noodles.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add diced onion and stir for 5-6 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and stir for one minute. Incorporate sliced mushrooms and stir for 3 minutes to soften.
Add ground beef to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes until the meat turns pale brown.
Pour in beef broth, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and reduce heat to low.
Let the sauce simmer for 8-10 minutes to blend the flavors. Adjust the salt as needed. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
Mix cornstarch with water and add it to the skillet. Stir over heat until the sauce thickens. If needed, add an additional tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with water to reach the desired consistency.
