Panko Chicken carbonara recipe consists of a rich carbonara sauce with pancetta, succulent shrimp, red bell pepper, delicious chicken, and cooked pasta. This dish was inspired by Olive Garden recipe!
Saute bell peppers and onions.
Then garlic and shrimp. Set aside.
Make breaded chicken. Toss the chicken in egg and then roll in panko breadcrumbs.
Then cook until golden brown and crusty exterior. Yum!
Cook the pasta and reserve cooking water for the sauce.
Fry pancetta or guanciale or fatty bacon.
Make the sauce base with egg yolks, parmesan and splash of pasta cooking water.
Transfer to skillet with bacon and toss pasta in the cheesy egg mixture and bacon fat until pasta is fully coated and creamy.
Add chicken, shrimp, veggies and serve. Enjoy!
