Deviled Egg Recipe

These deviled eggs are made with perfectly boiled eggs, filled with a creamy and velvety yolk filling with gherkins and spiced up with a smoky element to make this festive appetizer even more special. Sprinkle with paprika and a touch of parsley for finished look.

Cut the eggs in half and remove the egg yolks. Transfer them into a large bowl and mash until almost smooth.

Add in gherkins, mayonnaise, butter, mustard, salt, black pepper, sugar and hot sauce. Mix all the ingredients until well combined.

I simply use a fork for this but for a more creamy texture, you can beat the mixture with an electric hand mixer on low speed. Taste for seasoning and adjust accordingly.
